Hello! This is us

Sarah sits on the British Acupuncture Council Admissions Board and once knitted a map of a roman archaeological site.

Katherine runs the show in the background and knows an awful lot about tea!

Alison was a midwife before she became an acupuncturist and loves Jolly Nice coffee.

Claire Timmis is our Clinic Manager, keeping things organised during clinical sessions and making sure that all our patients are looked after when they come for treatment.

Katherine Attwell is our Practice Manager. She uses her pharmacy and retail experience to run the show in the background.

Alison Curtis (MBAcC, BSc Hons Acu, Lic Ac) and Sarah Attwell-Griffiths (MBAcC, BSc Hons Acu, Lic Ac) are qualified, accredited Acupuncturists, providing top-notch treatment to our lovely patients. They trained for nearly 4 years at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading. This means that they all practice the same style of acupuncture, which integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine (the stuff they use in hospitals in China) and Five Element acupuncture (which is particularly effective for emotional stuff).

Claire is a yoga teacher and will complete her acupuncture degree soon. Go Claire!

What do the fancy letters after our names mean?
MBAcC

We are fully fledged members of the British Acupuncture Council. This means that we adhere to strict safety standards and professional conduct guidelines, and that we are fully insured. Membership also means we're on the Government's accredited voluntary register of healthcare professionals.

BSc Hons Acu

We have Batchelor of Science Honours degrees in acupuncture, from Kingston University.

Lic Ac

CICM awarded us a licentiate to practice acupuncture.
